Element Fleet Management hosted its annual Ride and Drive event at the Toronto Congress Centre, in Toronto, Ontario. Over 150 passenger vehicles, light and medium duty trucks, from 20 OEMs were on hand at the ride and drive for the 450 attendees to experience.
“This annual event allows the Element team to reconnect with clients in a meaningful and collaborative way,” said Sébastien Blondin, President, Fleet Management, Canada. “Our entire team benefited from hearing what’s on the mind of our clients.”

Kristi Webb, CEO, Element Fleet Management, spoke about how Element’s confluence of benchmarking data, analytics and employee experience is driving the organizations growth and success. Chris Gittens, Chief Commercial Officer, Element Fleet Management, shared how new Element technology uses data to help drivers make decisions that support the fleet operators objectives.
The event featured keynote speaker, Paul Zikopoulos, Vice-President of Big Data Analytics at IBM, who gave an eye-opening presentation on the forces that drive innovation and discussed the merging of technology and data; specifically what “big data” means in the fleet world.
“Great selection of vehicles, nice to have all the manufactures vehicles in one location for comparison along with high level of support, from product experts and executives,” said Doug Morris, Enercare. “Also, great insight as to where technology is going. The guest speaker was great.”
