As we close out 2025, we’re reflecting on a year defined by transformation, momentum, and meaningful progress across our organization. From major launches to sustainability milestones, digital innovation, and recognition across our regions, this year showcased the very best of who we are: trusted partners helping clients navigate a rapidly changing mobility landscape.

Below are the moments that shaped our year and signal where we’re heading next.

Defining our brand to move the world through intelligent mobility

This year, we brought our refreshed Element brand to life through a strategic evolution that reinforces our purpose, our promise, and the value we deliver to fleet leaders worldwide.

Our updated identity goes beyond aesthetics. The new logo, symbolizing momentum, collaboration, and intelligence in motion, reflects who we are today: a global leader enabling the future of mobility.

Advancing the future of fleet management with Element Mobility

One of our major milestones was the launch of Element Mobility, a new division designed to accelerate the future of intelligent fleet technology. Introduced in July, Element Mobility unifies innovation, partnerships, and emerging technology to help shape what mobility management will look like in the decade ahead.

Launching the Innovation Lab

At the heart of Element Mobility is the Element Innovation Lab created to pioneer breakthrough ideas. The lab fast-tracks innovation by connecting startups, technology leaders, and Element experts, helping promising concepts move quickly from vision to reality. It has already become a collaborative ecosystem where experimentation thrives and scalable solutions take root.

Celebrating recognition, leadership, and community impact

Across our organization, our people earned well-deserved recognition for their leadership, innovation, and commitment to community.

  • Angelique Magi, VP of Risk Solutions, Insurance, was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 by WXN for her leadership in transforming how clients insure and manage commercial fleets.

  • Element was again named to the Report on Business “Women Lead Here” list, highlighting our strong representation of women in leadership.

  • We were featured as a Global Top 50 SDG Leader, demonstrating our impact on fleet decarbonization, mobility innovation, and sustainability.

  • Element was named a DEI Rising Star by The Prosperity Project, recognizing our inclusive, people-first culture.

Strategic partnerships fueling smarter mobility

Partnerships played a major role in advancing our strategy this year.

Element + Samsara: Next-gen fleet and operations management  In June, Element and Samsara formed a strategic partnership to bring clients across Canada and the U.S. a unified, data-driven fleet and operations management solution. By combining Element’s lifecycle expertise with Samsara’s Connected Operations® platform, clients gain real-time visibility, AI-powered safety insights, predictive maintenance intelligence, compliance tools, and unified reporting—all designed to improve performance and reduce risk.

Element + Motus: A unified reimbursement solution for every driver  In August, we announced a partnership with Motus to deliver an integrated mobility offering that supports both traditional fleet drivers and employees who use personal vehicles for work. Bringing together Element’s scale and expertise with Motus’s reimbursement platform and mobile-first tools, the collaboration enhances visibility, compliance, efficiency, and the driver experience.

Element + Car IQ: Expanding connected mobility through vehicle-initiated payments  In December, Element announced its acquisition of Car IQ, a pioneer in connected vehicle payments, bringing the first vehicle-initiated payment technology directly into a full-suite fleet management ecosystem. As part of Element Mobility, Car IQ expands our digital payments roadmap across the U.S. and Canada and integrates seamlessly with our connected mobility and data solutions. The technology enables vehicles to autonomously authenticate and complete transactions, reducing fraud and simplifying spend management for clients.

Elevating the digital experience with Xcelerate Intelligence

We continued to strengthen our digital foundation with major enhancements to Xcelerate Intelligence (X8i). This included a redesigned homepage aligned with our refreshed brand, smoother navigation, and flexible filtering tools that help users surface essential fleet information faster.

Together, these enhancements make data-driven decisions more intuitive and empower clients to unlock greater value from their fleet analytics, reinforcing our commitment to best-in-class digital experiences.

Strategic Advisory Services evolution in 2025

The Strategic Advisory team launched a new Advisor Portal this year, creating a single hub for client metrics, alerts, and industry news. The portal also sharpens collaboration by clearly highlighting customer engagement and priorities.

Our Life Cycle Cost Analysis tool has been driven by AI-powered vehicle searches, smarter EV recommendations and more updated financial data alerts enabling our Advisors to make more confident and data-driven recommendations

We also launched our Portfolio Market Trends dashboard which gives Advisors real-time portfolio benchmarks for stronger market research and to uncover client opportunities more effectively

Accelerating progress toward a more sustainable future

In June, we released our annual Sustainability Report highlighting our achievements from 2024.

Our planet

We surpassed our Scope 1 and 2 science-based targets ahead of schedule, achieving an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from our 2019 baseline. We also maintained a CDP Climate score of B for the second consecutive year, underscoring our commitment to transparency and accountability.

Our people

Element directed $1.9 billion in spend to more than 4,800 diverse suppliers, reinforcing our commitment to economic inclusion. We also launched the 2025 Employee Matching Program, empowering employees to double their impact by supporting eligible nonprofit organizations.

Our business

We were ranked 9th out of 215 publicly traded Canadian companies for strong corporate governance by The Globe and Mail. We also deepened our alignment with globally recognized sustainability frameworks including TCFD, SASB, and select UN SDGs—all supporting regulatory readiness and high-quality disclosure.

Strengthening thought leadership on the future of mobility

In November, we released The Great Mobility Shift: The Next Era of Automotive Transformation,” a global whitepaper mapping how technology, policy, and changing behaviours will reshape mobility by 2035.

Drawing insights from around the globe, the report outlines four forces shaping the decade ahead:

  • autonomous vehicles

  • alternative energy and electrification

  • AI and connectivity

  • mobility-as-a-feature

The whitepaper cements Element’s role as a strategic leader helping clients prepare for and lead through the next mobility revolution.

Celebrating a decade of growth in Mexico

Element Mexico had a standout year, delivering measurable impact and celebrating a major milestone.

In 2025, the team managed 136,982 units, identified $2.44 billion MXN in potential savings, and delivered $438 million MXN in realized savings for clients. This year also marked their 10-year anniversary, reflecting a decade of innovation, partnership, and growth. To cap it off, Element Mexico was named one of the top companies to work for in the country, an achievement that speaks to the team’s culture and leadership.

Marking 30 years of partnership with Arval

This year, we recognized three decades of the Element–Arval Global Alliance (EAGA), one of the longest-standing partnerships in global fleet management. To mark the milestone, the alliance released the 2025 Global Fleet and Mobility Barometer, offering insights on sustainability, cost efficiency, and mobility trends shaping fleets around the world.

Strong momentum in Australia and New Zealand with Custom Fleet

Our Custom Fleet team in ANZ continued to build on strong momentum.

In 2025, they achieved their highest-ever NPS score of 67, reflecting proactive support and practical solutions that help clients run safer, more efficient fleets. They were also recognized with the AWEI Small Employer of the Year award and maintained Gold Tier certification for LGBTQ+ inclusion. With a fleet surpassing 500,000 vehicles and continued investment in digital tools and advisory support, Custom Fleet is helping organizations plan confidently in a fast-evolving mobility landscape.

Looking ahead

As we turn the calendar page, 2026 is already shaping up to be a year full of possibility. With the foundation we built in 2025 through new partnerships, bold innovation, powerful insights, and a global team that continues to raise the bar, we’re entering the new year with momentum and confidence.
