When you partner with Element, you become a partner for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We are deeply committed to our People, Clients, Suppliers and Communities. Element drives and tracks our commitment to a diverse supply chain. For our clients, we provide tools to help expand their diverse spend with customized tracking solutions ensuring diversity commitments are understood, organized and reported. Element has established diverse supply chains in vehicle acquisition, delivery, upfit, maintenance, transportation, fueling, and accident repair.
Element's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion began in the early '90s with the creation of Diversity Employee networks and a Supplier Diversity program. The supplier diversity journey initially focused on developing diverse vehicle acquisition partners as well as a process to identify and verify maintenance and accident diverse vendors.
The journey has continued as Element developed additional diverse supplier relationships in other service categories over time and will continue as Element identifies diverse suppliers capable of meeting our client’s needs.
We are proud of our Diverse Supplier Network, which includes over 4,800 service-supply businesses owned by women, BIPOC, members of LGBTQ+ communities, and veterans. We make it easy for clients and their drivers to choose these Diverse Suppliers – driving over $1.8 billion of our clients' fleet spend in 2023.
Element provides actionable insights and supplier diversity data you can verify, trust and proudly report. We've made concerted efforts to expand our diverse supplier base, enhance our systems, automate reporting, and provide industry-leading capabilities.
Our efforts haven't gone unnoticed. We are proud to be recognized for our dedication and excellence in Supplier Diversity from our clients:
Element has a well-established and expanding diverse supply chain focused on meeting our clients’ needs and delivering value to the suppliers we work with.

For our clients and our community of diverse suppliers, this means:
NMDSC, CAMSC and CCAB are the lead organizations in connecting corporations to minority vendors in the U.S. and Canada – giving Element and our clients access to a broad network of diverse suppliers.
WBENC is the leading certifier of women-owned businesses just as Disability:IN is for disability-owned business enterprises, including service-disabled and veteran disability-owned businesses connecting business to Element’s supply chain.
NMDSC, CAMSC, and WBENC will independently conduct annual data scrubs of our suppliers and audit, if they are certified, providing Element and our clients with the trusted insights into the make-up of our supplier base and where opportunities exist to improve minority spend.
